Are most men jealous of the Alpha Male?

I have a co-worker that is extremely dominant over his wife. He does not allow her to drive. He drives her everywhere. He is constantly on the phone with her because he has to know where she is and who is she is interacting with. He is obsessed with cheating because he needs more than one woman in his life (according to him). He has girlfriends in another country in which he tries to dominate them like his wife. It's obvious that these girls are just trying to use him for money but he doesn't see it. He looks like a complete idiot spending so much time and energy on these girls. It's obvious that he's doing it to show off for other men.

It actually pisses him off if he sees another man walking with an attitude.

I'm guessing this is what they call an alpha male. A big buffoon that's trying to show off his manliness everywhere he goes. I spent enough time with him to know that he's an insecure man that is constantly worrying about his manhood so he does extreme least stupid things to prove it.

Considering alphas don't really exist.. Nah not jealous.. The premise of alpha men is based on a flawed book in which someone was observing wolves.. Thing is, if you observe actual wolf interaction, it's never the males that lead the pack, it's the females that not only but the males in their place, they do most of the hunting and lead the pack..

When someone suggests they are alpha, I simply pity them for being too stupid to realize they they are nothing.

No. The so called alpha male relies to a great extent on wealth, looks, ststus and physique. It is all visual. They are, in reality, the beta male.

The guy that relies on just his personslity is the true alpha, but does not need the alpha title.

I believe people are jealous of people they relate very well to don’t relate to at all. So if you get 98% you might be jealous of the guy who got 100% and if a guy gets a 51% he might be more jealous of the one who got 89% and 52% then he would be jealous of the who got 60% cause the guy who got 60% is neither very different, nor very similar to the guy who got 52%.

Only so called alpha males said yes to this. And for the women the kind that dint look for the best in men said yes roo.
Also the alpha man was misled while writing his book, because he then saw that the the alpha wolf did need and ask for help when he couldn't handle the situation. It makes sense because wolves travel in packs they are not tough as one.

Not if he's a true alpha male. Guys understand pecking order. And if you're weak guys will challenge you. But there are a lot of guys that are not alpha males and think they can assert themselves like they are by puffing thier chest out and talking all big and bad. Guys may be envious, but not jealous. A guys ok with it if the moniker is earned.
