Getting more attention in my 30s from women?

Maybe it’s because I was in a relationship for 6 years and i didn’t allow myself to even notice females but i just turned 30 and I’m getting more girls interested in me than ever before in high school and my early 20s before the long term relationship I had a really hard time picking up girls and I was lifting and working out and running everyday and was ripped I still have abs and am in decent shape just from playing sports being active having a dog and working a heavy lifting labor job but i would say I was in better shape in my 20s and prior I don’t think i look much different is this normal are girls more attracted to that age maybe am I more mature I’ve always been respectful even now I picked one to talk to and stopped looking but when I was deciding and looking around I was getting approached by good looking girls and any I reached out to myself were interested I’m not complaining it’s flattering if anything but guys has anyone else experienced this and girls do find that age more attractive or you think maybe there’s some other reason you would understand better than I

I think you could be onto something about girls seeing you as more mature and stable now. When you're a kid in high school, girls probably just see us as intimidating or immature or whatever. But maybe once you're a bit older they realize guys have grown up more and are looking for something more serious. Plus I bet the long term relationship you had shows the girls you're not just looking to mess around, you know?

It's also possible they can tell you still take care of yourself even if you're not in quite as good shape as before. As long as you don't have a dad bod going on haha. Working a physical job and having a dog to keep you active is more than a lot of guys our age can say.

So you've probably got that whole more mature but still in shape vibe going for you. I'm sure your confidence is higher now too after being with someone for so long. Girls definitely pick up on that stuff!

Either way man, it's awesome that you're having so much luck now! I wouldn't overthink it too much and just enjoy the attention. As long as you keep respecting women like you said, that's all that really matters. Seems like all those years of experience are paying off for you. Who knows, maybe one of these girls could turn into something more serious too! Just go with the flow and have fun with it dude.

Yeah I found one I’m excited about it’s early but I’m now only focusing on her but like in the process of finding her I was just surprised at the level of interest because I’ve never had it like that before but I’ve always been a one at time person I mean I’ll talk to multiple really early but I’ll pick one I actually am vibing with I’ll let them know I want to be exclusive and cut off the others I don’t believe in cheating I’m respectful all the time or at least i make an effort to be I’m human but I think you’re right I haven’t always been this way I took a lot of bad relationships good ones lost and other non relationship hardships and grow into a mature emotionally available caring understanding open minded partner

Dude, it sounds like you really figured some stuff out through those past experiences. And yeah, your 30s are when it starts coming together - you gain so much self-awareness and emotional maturity compared to your 20s.

I can tell just from chatting that you carry yourself way differently now. There's an ease and confidence without arrogance, y'know? Girls can 100% pick up on that vibe.

I'm stoked things are going well with this new chick too! Just keep being your genuine, caring self like you have been. Communicate openly, really listen to understand her perspective too. As long as you keep growing together, I got a good feeling about this one.

I experienced exactly the same in my 30's and still do as I'm older. But I look after myself, strength train every 2 days (Synapse CCR), and I love life. When you love life, everyone else wants to be around you to share in the joy. It seems at this age you can appeal to 21 year old as well as 45+ year old women and relate to all equally. But when I was in my 20's, I wasn't getting any interest from any girls beyond 20 years old and even that was less compared to when I was in my 30's and beyond. I prefer to remain single though, can't beat pure freedom!

I have noticed early twenties girls especially like it because the guys their age are balls of hormones that only want sex and older women that either lost a relationship or haven’t been able to hold on to one that were high value women drop their standards as they age so it’s just like you said ages wise

In my experience that is normal. I'm not 30 quite yet (29 for a couple more months) but I have definitely had more attention from women in the last year or so. And my older brother (36) gets even more attention, especially from women in their 20s. Neither of us got much attention in our early or mid 20s.

Im focusing on one i like a lot now i like being in a committed relationship I’m happy by myself too though and i think it’s important to happy alone before getting in a relationship when you look to your new person to make you happy when you’re not it’s an unhealthy equation so I’m glad you’re enjoying single life when the time does come for a relationship you’ll be in the right headspace for it
