Well, I guess some people don't really care about non-issues like "genetic legacies", because they actually care enough about others to do what they believe to be the right thing to do under certain circumstances. So no, that isn't at all "pathetic"; it's actually an example of positive masculinity, and we need more of it.

This is the most pathetic opinion I’ve ever heard of. Adoption may be the only thing which allows a small child to even come close to the dream of a loving home and parents who care for them. To spin that unbelievably loving and selfless act into some twisted, insecure, “some man’s penis went someplace I didn’t” mindset is among the most depraved and pathetic things I have ever even heard.
