I posted a look question of the most atttactive guy in my university. I’m straight but even I look at this guy in admiration! He’s a very handsome dude.
these were the results. I also voted V attractive so you can take one off.

(That’s 63% saying average or less)………wtf. Most common option unattractive.

I’ve also asked questions about my physique. Most people saying I’m average when I’m actually in great shape. Lean, fit and healthy. Doesn’t make sense

You have 9votes in total. Thats like not a lot for a good poll interpretation. A single outlier has more than 10% influence. More so looking at a single gender.
Ignoring that part, on average he is average looking for the girls. While guys dont really disagree and voting him just slightly above average.
Also depending what you want to achive more poll options could benefit to see a bit better result. Because technically 'average' is not your middle ground but it sounds like that. So depending how people interpret that, it will influence the result dramatically.

Of course most of the stuff on here are honest to a fault -- so you need to take the stuff they're saying with a grain of salt. Some folks on here are super toxic and venting. Are they being honest? Sure -- or at least THEY think so. Is it advice you can actually build on? No.

Most users give honest opinions. Since people have different opinions of what looks good, you'll likely get the complete range of opinions on "look" questions.

Most people on gag are generally answering questions with good intentions. There are a few bad apples (myself included) but if its an honest question, it’ll get an honest answer.
