Unfortunately, also due to this problem, as well as low self-esteem and many other issues, I have never been engaged or had experiences with girls in general. I have friends with whom I get along very well and everything... but I have a lot of difficulty meeting new people (especially girls) because, if things go badly, I can blurt out a word every 2 or 3 seconds.
For the rest, I try to take care of my body and people often compliment me, but the fact remains that as soon as I open my mouth I speak in fits and starts and I know how much this works against me.

Positive affirmations and repetitive mental disassociation from your fears of rejection. Not viewing a negative social dynamic in catastrophic terms but giving it, its minor and weakly relevant place. Understanding that rejection is normal and does not mean you do not matter if it happens.
Lead with this line.. What do you think of guys who stutter? If they say they 'don't mind,' you say well great, today is your lucky day :D
Always try and turn your problems into an attribute.. People will take a shine to you for it.
If they say they don't like it, well say that's ok then, it's a good job I don't stutter then.. smile :D you see it can also work in your favour when you expect to get rejected.. it's how you deal with the rejection that holds the key.
i mean, i never judge someone because he/she stutters or has any other problem literally... i couldn't care less and i actually find it a distinctive trait, but it's not the same for me.
