I was made fun of a lot as a child and I internalized it and ultimately it has carried into my adulthood but there was one remark that someone told me that was so cold that it has been burned into my head and totally killed my self esteem they told me that the only way I would get a girl is if I raped her. Implying that a girl would never like me or accept me

Therapy. I'm serious - if you're in your 30s still stuck on something from childhood, then you need professional help to unstick your heart and mind.
But you have to admit that saying something like that to someone is so horrible that it can stick
Absolutely, but that doesn't explain your inability to process it like a functional adult.
People will tell you fucked up shit throughout your life. Some won't mean it, many will.
If you can't function despite that, you need help.
It’s still processing it like an adult it’s just hurtful
That's where therapy can help you. It's easier with professional help.
You're an idiot if you get your self worth from what others think and feel.
