Why is it socially bad to tell the truth about playing hard to get?

I know guys who many girls want and they always go after the girls that aren’t interested in them.

Its like if you're a 7 out of 10 and you chase after him, you become a 5 out of 10.

if your a 7 out of 10 and you are hard to get, you become a 9 out of 10.

Not true. It just seems that way to you. I have to set a lot of women straight about this when they always wonder why one woman or particular women seem to horde all the attention of men. It's because as you suggest women do not like putting themselves out there. Women would rather a guy just read her mind.🤣 But since guys do not have ESP and that's never going to happen a woman does the next best thing. She drops subtle hints. So subtle in fact most of the time the guys not aware she dropped any hint at all.🤣 while on the flupside she thinks she's being super obvious. Now why do some women get a majority of the attention? It's because these particular women don't play by these rules. If she sees a man she wants the attention of she has no problem displaying whatever she thinks it'll take to get that attention. This is why women do not understand why guys are attracted to THOTTY behaviour. It's because women go out of thier way to restrain themselves from showing anything complimentary towards men. So when men do get that from a woman it's like getting a drop of water in the desert when he does.

But guys quickly learn that water doesn't belong in the desert. So if a woman is paying excessive attention to him like that, it's most likely all her "game".

A woman on this question said "men are biologically wired to pursue". This might be true in the animal kingdom. But in the animal kingdom the female doesn't do this solely for attention. So it's this type of thinking the has broken the male-female interaction. Why would a guy want pursue a woman that ONLY wants him to pursue? Why would a guy keep pursuing if he knows it'll lead to nothing but more pursuing? The answer is, he doesn't. And then even if she decides she does want him after after that she broken his trust. And nothing she will do will get his attention.

So bottom line, play with people's emotions and you'll reap what you sew.

You know some lucky damn guys then. Most of us are left with "signals" so subtle we can never pick them up, to the point we start to think we're surrounded by radio silence.

Take the problem you see where some women get drowned in unwanted male attention and flip it on its head. Whether they like it or not, solicit it or not, the average woman is given enough direct signals of her attractiveness to men that this overabundance of (mostly unwanted) attention is given its own name (catcalling) and field of social critique.

The reason why men are lonelier and more likely to die deaths of despair is because the average man can go so long pursuing a female partner without success, let alone going so long without a woman once persuing him or showing any explicit interest back, that we can't help but personalize that lack of interest in us as partners and have it reflect on our own sense of self-worth.

Your right men are biologically wired to persue. It's been that way for all of time. Girls that Chase men are often viewed as easy and cheap. Guys will never admit that but it's how it is. This new age stuff is just a bunch of lies. Girls are supposed to approach men etc. It's stupid just stick to the old way, let a man persue you. Because if he is really interested he won't pass you up.

Not even close. I'm tired of pursuing* women to, at best, polite indifference, and at worst, rejection. It would be really nice to have a woman show interest in me, if only to remind myself in my current lonely spell that they still exist out there.

It's not about playing hard to get.

It's about knowing each other having a smoother more natural progression than just being overboard with it.

The best thing about being a moderately attractive person as I am is that you can see that people will frequently reject you, even if you are attractive to them, just because you approached matters a little bit too fast.

If you find someone attractive. Just compliment them, be nice to them, and ask them if they would like to spend some time together.

Show clear interest, but make sure they feel free.

Not only choose them, let them choose you too! Or look for someone who is already motivated to do so.

Playing 'hard to get' is the worst way to get a guy. Because most guys who you want respect a no, and move on.
