We met on Tinder, and I know everyone says to avoid it for long-term relationships, but he is really sweet. He makes me laugh and feel good about myself. He has met my mum, sister, and brother because they are in close interaction with me regularly. People have called him my boyfriend, and he hasn't corrected them.

We message, call, and see each other regularly throughout the week, and he has made plans for future dates and things he wants to do in the near future. However, I don't know how to approach the discussion of "Hey, what are we?" I really like this guy...

Another option is having the "define the relationship" talk over a cute date. Maybe plan a picnic or cook him dinner so it feels low pressure. You could joke that his fam keeps asking when they can meet him too lol.

Either way, frame it positively! Tell him what you value about your connection instead of interrogating. Something like "I'm really falling for you - can we make this an official relationship?"

Just be straight up tbh. Tell him something like “So I really enjoy spending time with you, I think you’re fun and I really like you blablabla. I just want to make sure we’re on the same page, because I see you as boyfriend material and was wondering if I can start introducing you as my bf” or something like that. It’s important to be direct and tell him exactly what you want, then ask if he’s on the same page.

I’d be careful with that, if I were you. The “what are we?” question usually annoy guys. Since you’ve only been dating for two months, perhaps he’s just trying to get to know you at this point. Now, if this is still the case at the six month mark, then you should just flat out ask him. For now, just focus on getting to know him.
