Guy's Behavior

I have been seeing this guy for 9months. And we haven’t discussed what we are. Is he never going have a serious conversation with me?

I have been seeing this guy for 9months, and we hang out most weeekends and sometimes during the week.
We message every day. i have met his family and friends, and vice versa. I basically feel like we are in a relationship, but have never spoken about it.. he uses me like a girlfriend too, like asking for money to borrow or for advice etc. and he helped me move houses and gave me a fridge for free, he’s good to me. Maybe actions speak louder that words?

We had a talk once when we were drunk, we both mentioned we wanted to see where it went. But that was 4ish months ago.
I have been wanting him to ask me to be exclusive, but nothing has happened and I’m shy to say anything. if he wanted to be with me so bad, why hasn’t he asked me out yet? I’m just waiting for him to say something.. and I bet you I will have to be the one to say something. Ugh. Do girls really wait this much? I want him to try harder, it makes me feel like he doesn’t want me
