Cheating boyfriend, sex worker and sexual inuedno? Am I overreacting?

Background my partner cheated with 6 women however I wanted to try and get back with him.

He's going to a show with a female friend which I said I'd be okay with him going but he insists that I come. He says I will get on with the friend a lot. When I meet the friend initially I'm extremely friendly. And ask about her etc. Turns out she's a sex worker. Okay great. I don't judge and I have friends who are too.

However he says to her " you take the bottom ticket and let my girl take the one one on the bottom. To which the female sex worker friend responds with " What if I like being on top?" (sexual innuendo). And they both start laughing. I am there with a completely straight face.

I felt that this was an extremely inappropriate comment to make in front of me since we have just met and why you telling my boyfriend your sexual preference.

My boyfriend said I can't take a joke and she didn't mean it like that and I am just judging because she's a sex worker.

Please can you tell me if I am being over sensitive?

But you're way more open minded than I am. I wouldn't be cool with female friends in the first place and you still trust him enough to have a girl friend who is a sex worker, after he cheated.

I think my days of being open minded are over. I was gaslighted over this and told it's not that bad and she's just joking and I'm taking it in the wrong way. Absolutely no boundaries. I'm over it.
