I don't get out too much, but when I try to meet guys online, I don't have a lot of luck. I've always found it hard to meet men, probably because I'm more sexually conservative, but in my mid thirties, it's gotten worse. It's not looks. People think I'm ten years younger than I look. I'm slim. PUA type guys have rated me a 7. I've never been overly picky, but my experience has always been that men are picky about me. I'd date another 7, and I usually look lower. I like to have an intellectual connection with someone and shared values. Having a crazy mom, health problems, and money struggles have gotten in the way of me meeting people for most of my life, but I've still always seen men as a tough crowd and dating as a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. At my age, even fleeting interest is rare. Do I even have any options? I get the sense that men are only prioritizing their own reproduction after an extended period of sewing their wild oats or waiting to get enough money to sew their wild oats. Are there any good Christian guys around my age or a little older who would marry a good Christian girl my age? Older men tell me these guys exist, but I haven't met any.
Depending on the country customs, a girl's beauty and sex appeal can peak as early as age 13. For example this 13 year old girl:

In the USA based on the laws and custom, a girl must be 18 for her sex appeal to peak. Regardless, by age 22 a girl's beauty and sex appeal starts going downhill and by age 30, she has lost her bloom.
Men may marry a woman well into her 50s especially a widower that was very happily married. Regardless of what you claim you look like, you are not near as appealing as you were when you were 10 to 18 years younger. Therefore, to get married, you standards must be realistic. If your standard are men near your age that you would have attracted at age 22, it is almost hopeless because they are looking for you; they are for who your were at age 22 and before you lost 70% of your beauty and 90% of your sex appeal.00 Reply

1 yWell there are a few things woth the "age" that come along that "we see" women not wifey material anymore... and that because you're one on that 10% that can still be the Wifey material... Because the rest of 90% have lots of "issues" these days...
Like there is No more trust... That loyality to build a Family is "out the window" and that can come as an "incentive" from the entourage, relatives, younger generation, which "blames" the rest of the Man for "their own failures in life"... there still are lots of decent Men out there but same like women, are hard to find, because that is the New generation... Like to Fuck things up for the Rest of us, and show the World that is "only good" to be... Single, LGPTQ "bs", cis, nois, pronous, pan, and whatever the hell other names are out there... this "gender freedom" messed with people's minds and seems to WORK very well... So that's why the "family men" are RARE, because of this Crazy 💩... Hope this shades some light for you, and to make it clear i am talking from my OWN POV, not speaking for others.10 Reply
There's no exact age but around after 30. The only reason for a man to marry a woman is really to build a life together and start a family. Chances are that if he's single at 40 or 50 then he's divorced and has kids so it's been there done that, won't do it again and most women older than 30 have been married or have kids or if they are closing in on 40 won't be able to give the man kids do no reason to marry.
Years ago when a woman married a man and had his kids taking his last name it was a 100% for better or worse commitment, now in 2024 marraige has lost its meaning.

Very true! Especially when talking about marriage and starting a family. The window is generally 20-30 peak for women and 30-40 for men. in my opinion.
So men of 40 and below are looking for under 30's women. That only leaves much older men - who don't want more kids. Or much younger men. Who are not looking to settle down and just sewing their oats.
And yh... throw in all this new sexuality and gender revolution and traditional relationships are out the windows.
Personally for myself... I free more free than ever having done my family raising stuff. I feel fabulous and confident and sexy within myself. I'm looking to really have a good joyful partnership with a man that is just about us. But yes. SO hard to find!
3.5K opinions shared on Dating topic. Women are confronted with a great number of preconceived ideas by men such as not being physically attractive, being too old to have children, having a bad character or simply that there is something wrong with them for having been single for so long. They become suspicious that something is not ticking correctly with a woman that is single past her 30s.
There is even a term that has been created for women that are getting pregnant in their mid thirties and that is "geriatric pregnancy". It is so reassuring that men view women as being a geriatric person when she reaches that fatal age. This must have been a term invented by a man.
Seeing that men view women to be part of the geriatric society, I would conclude that unfortunately, you are being put par with a 90+ year old human being.
I believe that there are people that are decent enough not to see a woman in her mid thirties as a an old person and that are willing to give them a chance in life to be happy.

3.5K opinions shared on Dating topic. It's not that they no longer see them as marriageable, but if their goal is to have at least a couple of kids then mid-30s is typically the limit. If kids aren't a factor then the sky's the limit and it's just a matter of what the guy and girl want from a marriage.
(Mind you, being Christian has nothing to do with the age thing... There's nothing in the bible that restricts people from marrying or staying married to someone who doesn't have kids... There are, in fact, several featured biblical characters who were considered barren... Let's keep religion out of the question, then.)

Has nothing to do with you sleeping around and everything to do with optimizing yourself and your life for finding the right man when you were much younger.

@femalenpc so you saying that you virgin? slepping around would not have gotten you married, hos are not wife material, Good Christians marry young to avoid slepping around, they also wait until marriage. As for career, men tend to care about woman's fertility than about her money.
- 1 y
That’s not true becuase sleeping around doesn’t get you married. I’m 26 and never had a first boyfriend, I’m worried I will also be old & no guy will marry me. Since I never had a boyfriend that means no guys want marry me & love me.
I want my baby before 30.
The one guy I sleep with he use me for sex & I regret meeting him, he ruined my life, I thought he was the one for me & no. 😞 we never met family. He used me. The right man neebr appeared when I was younger, I don't know who is the right guy for me I’m almsot 27. I don't know when god will finally give me my person my right guy - 1 y
Men don't want a successful career woman. This is what is wrong with what modern society is telling women. It doesn't mean don't have a successful career, but if you think having a college degree and a successful career is going to attract a man, you're wrong. Just look at the hordes of career women in their 30s single and childless.
Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yYou're getting pretty close now. I know this angers women to hear things like "the wall" but it is rooted in fact. A good woman NEVER loses value. But there are very few really good women. After 40 arguably 35 you lose your biggest attention getter when it comes to men which is your physical marketability. So you've got to have an even better personality now. a lot of women never evolve that which is why about 35 to 40 the see a tremendous drop off in the ability to attract and keep a guys attention.

People always think I'm a student, and I'm fit and funny and a good conversationalist. I've been aware of the concept of the wall for over a decade. I've been willing to have a family since I was young. But most women who were waiting for men to stop being single and independent are in the same position as me. A lot of us single women in our thirties were the generation of women who didn't sleep around and thought we'd be married.
It's the age thing that gets men to flake on me. They act shocked and then ghost. In my generation, the men were the problem. They thought they were all going to be these big crypto cocaine players. There wasn't a single slut in high school who doesn't have a big family. There wasn't a single nice virgin girl who men say they want that actually got married.
Opinion Owner1 yYou don't really want to be married.

Men put themselves out there once for every 8 times women put themselves out there.
Opinion Owner1 yBelieving that nonsense doesn't make it reality.
1 yThey're out there, but hidden in the masses. Many men have been rejected or put in the friend zone by women and find it hard to trust women anymore and choose not to approach women as a result of their experiences. Its a tough road to travel but every road has its potholes and bumps. don't give up but be patient and observant to the more laid back guys, those that are not acting to gather attention. they may be the gems hidden in the crowd that your looking for.

2.5K opinions shared on Dating topic. There is no age that would prevent a woman from getting married. That's not your problem. Go somewhere that will teach you better social skills, and stick to men who are in your league.
22 Reply2K opinions shared on Dating topic. Men used to have to make a commitment to a woman for sex. It was usually courtship and marriage. Women wanted freedom and equality. This is what freedom and equality looks like.
