It’s more attractive when the man pays but I think the ideal is the one with more money pays. I’ve paid for guys before because he was in need and I wanted to help him. I knew he would not demand or expect me to pay, but as somebody who cared, I wanted to support him.

In general the guy. But having said that I think the one that invites should go into it with the INTENT if paying (if that happens to be the woman she should be prepared to). I also think either the guy or the woman should be prepared to pay thier own way should the need arise. Because just because I think the guy should pay doesn't mean everyone agrees with that. If you're PREPARED to pay your own way it's never going to be an issue if the need arises.

On a first time date for like the 5th time in a week, it shouldn’t come at the expense of someone’s wallet paying for all the bill… 50/50 is the smartest in my eyes. Don’t split it, pay for your food they pay for theirs.
