Okay a little context it was officially first date but we have met/hungout with eachother twice before and then I asked her out. Also both times we were with eachother during the whole event, so technically not first date so I feel like I might be friendzoned. Or am I overthinking?

So I texted her the next day cause I felt like talking to her, she said whats up and I said nothing just thinking about you and I don't know what happened she just ignored the message. haven't talked since. I don't know whats so bad about putting yourself out there maybe I should have played to cool and not texted for few days I guess. But its safe to say my doubts where right I guess. Huh dating is so tiring honestly.

Many women are just shy when it comes to this stuff and won’t make the first move. I gave my boyfriend the first kiss because he gave me all sorts of signs that he was into me, but if you haven’t made it apparent that you are into her, chances are she’s not going to go for anything and you will have to make the first move to kiss her.

so you asked her out on an official date right? Turning it into a date is technically a date but the seriousness and intentions can get lost. Depending on how it’s done it might come off sleazy. How many days did the text message go unanswered? It seems like a lot is being left out. She’s not going to put urgency on unless you were like “I enjoyed our date, would you like to go out again?” That’ll give you an answer.

As i said in the update response to my hey was instant and then i texted i was thinking about her and after that its been 3 days since no response so at least by the response of hey its safe to say that she is ignoring and not missed the message.

She might be trying to play it cool. I’m someone that goes by observation and gut so if you think that she’s ignoring you you’re probably right. She could’ve been busy or talking to other people. If more than a week goes by and she doesn’t give any type of explanation you’d be satisfied with. I’d say on to the next.

I don't think kissing is a requirement on a first date. Nor is sex. You should be getting to know each other and not worry about what happens at the end. But it is proper etiquette to text or call them the next day to say you had a good time. If they sound open and also enjoyed the date, you might slip in the possibility of a 2nd date question.

Typically on a first date she makes it pretty clear that she wants me to kiss her, or she just kisses me. I've been on 2 or 3 sometimes where it didn't happen. Wasn't the end of the world and we eventually kissed. Don't sweat it.
