It’s only weird when the age difference is evident. Because nobody walks around with a number over their head.

some people are the same age and one looks way old and the other doesn’t and it looks weird but their the same age.

so it’s not so much the numbers but how it appears to others.

in any case as long as it’s not little kids, you shouldn’t care what others think l. Because you could be dating someone your own age and it could still look weird because some people look much other or much younger than their real age.

just go with who you feel a connection with.

You go for girls that LOOk old or you ask their age and only for for them if they match the age you’re looking for? Because that’s two different things.

If you like then to LOOK old and you don’t look old then it’s gonna look weird.

If you yourself look old and going with someone that looks about the same age as you even if they are older, it’s not gonna look weird.

It’s all about perspective.

I for example look fairly young and look like I’m walking with my father when I date guys my age. Because most men my age look old. And most girls my age look old. So it tends to look weird. If I date someone that actually LOoKs like me, then that wouldn’t look weird but it WOULd be weird for me because I know they’re younger and thats strange to me.

If you care what others think it’s gonna affect any relationship you’re in. It’s better to just go with who you feel a connection with. And if the person looks either too young or too old it’s always going to give an impression to people. Same if it were roles reversed.

Ideally, it’s usually the guy being older by 5 or so years.

My parents are 10 years apart. They look good to me. Not weird. But there’s others that do look weird. All in appearance.
