How can a guy tell if he’s being rejected by women due to his lack of confidence or appearance?

So overall haven’t had much success dating and was curious how do you figure out if it’s lack of confidence or appearance

Simple. Just ask them. Just say something like:-

Go on tell me I can take it, what is so wrong with me that you felt the need to reject me?

Don't offer the dress sense or confidence way out to make it easy for them. If they tell you it's your appearance, or lack of confidence, then you say "I can go and get nicer clothes, why not come with me and help me choose?" That knocks the lack of confidence on the head as well!

Confidence comes from having the ability to laugh at yourself when things don't go according to plan, and adapting to your current situation.

I don't know how much more of a straight answer I can give you, other than when you are being rejected by a woman. just ask her WHY she is rejecting you!

If you get turned down for a job, do you not ask for feedback? It's the same thing, only instead of being turned down for a job, you're being turned down for something you did or didn't do.

Unless you shake like a wet dog she has no idea what your confidence level is. Regardless of what a woman says they have no clue. Now as far as your appearance goes, unless you look like a hobo women's tastes are all over the map when it comes to appearance. You could just by bad luck talking to all the wrong women.

I say this respectfully but how can we gauge either of these? There’s no pictures to critique your appearance and how are we to know if you are actually pretty confident but you just feel like you aren’t? We’d need some idea of what type of personality you have in the first place.

I was just thinking there was a general way of figuring it out in general I think I’m hideous I never really approach women

If you are awkward in front of them, it’s most likely because of a lack of self-confidence. If you are very open, assertive and clear with them, it’s probably appearance. If you are confident, some women will think you have a better appearance than you actually have.
