Girls, how would you feel if a guy asked you on a date and it was understood he would pay, then when the bill came, he paid with a gift certificate?

I watched a video yesterday of a woman crucifying a guy that did this. She actually liked him and was excited he asked her out but when he paid with a gift certificate, she said he blew all his chances for a second date. I, personally wouldn't do something like that but I'm wondering what your thoughts are.

If that turns a person off, then they were not worth dating in the first place. What difference does it make in the manner of payment? All you need to know is that you are not having to pay for your own. They were probably just dating you for a free meal anyway and had no intention for a second to begin with.

That actually happened to me. My last boyfriend had a gift card for Red Lobster and asked if I wanted to go with him and spend it. It was our first date and I was happy he thought of me! There's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

I mean, I understand the premise of the question: he got a gift card for a free meal for 2 so, he needed SOMEBODY to go with him to get the full discount so, she feels like he only chose to go out with to get the deal and not because he wanted HER, in particular but, would she also be pissed if he used actual money he got as a Christmas present?
Shut up!! You're getting a free meal and a nice night out with a nice guy that chose YOU over who knows how many others he COULD'VE picked!! If you've STILL got your panties in a bind over it at the end of the night, give him a gift certificate to your pussy to be used at a later date! (Offer good ONLY if real money is used on the date!)
