I want to meet up. What should I do?

So I got from a dating app a phone number yesterday and we talked for a bit before I said good night. Have not talked today and was wondering what I should do now. I would like to meet up soon because I prefer that over text, but don't know if I should just text that right now or wait a little and continue having just regular messages for now. When would be the best time or scenario to ask to meet up?

Ah man, getting a number from a dating app is always a good sign! I'd say text her later today just to like follow up on your conversation from last night. Keep it casual, just say hey how's it going or what're your plans for the day or something. Then give it a little time to chat back and forth.

After you've messaged a bit more to build things up, that's when I'd suggest proposing meeting up. Maybe in a day or two depending how the texts are going. You could say something like "Hey, I'm really enjoying talking to you. We should grab a coffee sometime and continue our chat in person, what do you think?" That way it seems chill but also shows your interested in taking it to the next step of meeting.
