Would height surgery help my chances with women?

All you could do is make your legs disproportionally longer and look like a freak. Think of the pain. And you'd be a cripple for months. Plus, they might not ever be as functional as normal legs.

People these days think that surgery can solve all their insecurities. In the past, they had to deal with what they had been dealt. They had to develop a persona, a talent or skill.

Fox, Bruno Mars, Prince, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Scott Caan, Dave Franco, Chad Allen, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Jon Stewart, Seth Green, Ben Stiller, Iggy Pop, Roger Daltry, Phil Collins, Angus Young, Bono, and many, many more successful people probably had magnetic personas even before they became successful.

The average height of American women is 5'4" and it's 5'3" globally. That means that a lot of women are shorter than that. There are a lot of nice, short girls out there for a guy who has a good personality.

Most women do judge based on height regardless of the girls comments in this post. And if you're not at least taller than them, then they're not likely to go for you. There ARE cases of short guys finding partners, but the dating game is definitely rough if you're short.

But I would not do any surgery to increase height. You're going to have balance issues with disproportionate legs relative to your body.

Sure you can do this but it's going to be extremely painful and extremely expensive. And in the end you're probably not going to do much better with women. You not only have to be tall to satisfy them - you also have to be very good looking, and you have to be very rich.

Also, most women define tall as being 6 ft or over and with that surgery you still won't be 6 ft tall.

Nope, it’s about who you are, how you act, your personality, your social skills etc, not your height. Yes it can come into it, however a 5ft arsehole would just be a 6ft arsehole.

Once a woman finds out that you went through such extreme measures (VERY expensive and painful, by the way) to be more attractive, there's a decent chance that she'll lose respect for you. You'll have more success just by owning up to your height and embracing it. I say this as a 5'8", scrawny guy.

Plus, taller women have seemed to like me *more* than short and average ones, so give the tall gals a shot. You might be surprised.

Don't do it. I know a guy who did it and he suffered to gain 2 inches. He looks taller but can barely walk and is has broke his legs twice because they are basically straws. Wear lifts.

And yeah, this OP probably just needs to start going after obese chicks to make up for his height. I am 115 pounds.
There are a lot to relationships/love then looks/heights.
Lots of guys with that height range married beautiful women. (Some kind, some not so kind)… pick wisely.

I was gifted with tall genes and have put no effort into dating attractive, young, fit girls my entire life. My short friends? They struggle to date anyone at all. And often settle far down in the looks category. It's not fair. And yes, confidence definitely helps. You're right there. But still, a confident tall guy gets 10x the amount of attractive girls compared to the confident short guy.

Those are the top 10% guys (tall, handsome, charismatic). They can get any girl… girls chase after them. They don’t even need to have money.

Most average women look for other traits … height is not their top priority.

most young people , opposite gender miss the point of what they want.
Women don’t weigh on outer appreance as heavy as guys do.
Young guys look at girls physical attributes more heavily. That can be dangerous.

I think it would make look odd. The torso is about as long as your legs. If that ratio changes then I would think it looks odd.
