How can one best show love to someone who’s love language is acts of service?

My roommate has a date in a couple of days with a woman whose top love language is acts of service and bottom is physical touch. He’s kicking me out on that evening so she can come over and make brownies with him.

They were planning the date over FaceTime last night (going over recipes, etc.) when she told him that she does not like to be touched. This is very confusing for us because all the women we’ve dated in the past loved being touched, kissed, etc.

In this setting of making brownies and going forward (if they decide to continue seeing each other) how can he show love via acts of service? Is it him picking the recipe and doing the majority of the cooking? Should he get a candle, make the place look fancy, and serve her when the brownies are done?

As an act of service girl myself, it doesn't take much to do things that I like. Now I don't have as much of a problem with touch as your friend's date does. In fact I love cuddles, but what I love more is the little things my partners do to show me they love me. In your friends case, it could just be that he doesn't try to touch her and respect her wishes unless she initiates. It could be making her dinner. For me it's stuff like doing something I hate doing like cleaning the bathroom while I do the other chores. Stuff like that.

This girl just wants attention not sex... If your bro wants some then he won't get any!

Also tell him to watch it cause these acts of service girls usually use and dump the guys who do so much for them. They get bored easily.

Go for a romantic date do what he can but don't be an over the top do anything for her.
