Why do some men not understand the lack of time single moms have for dating?

Well those are the men that you don't want to be around because those are the selfish men that think they should come first rather than the single Mom's kids.

When dating a single mom if her kids are not priority over me that relationship is not going to last

Single mom her priority are her kids and her responsibilities first and if she makes the guy more priority than everything else it's just not going to last and the kids are not going to be brought up the way they should be brought up

If a guy cannot understand this well it's his tough luck because any strong single mom will stick to her guns when it comes to her kids being number one priority and that there is a beautiful mom that there is a very good parent

I have dated single mothers. One woman that I dated. Had a boy and a girl to two different sperm donors. We usually planned to do things on the father’s weekend to have the children. You could bet your donkey that one would either be late. Or have an excuse not to pick up his child. Could not plan!
Then you have the woman that has an altitude that her children comes first and that men are lower than whale crap.
Without the woman’s input on when she is free and what she wants to do on short notice. Sometimes, it isn’t worth the effort.
Though I did meet a woman with a young daughter that I loved more than the mother. Who was only using me!

Single moms have that instant family, just add water. Even if she has a great personality, great body, etc, she will put her kids first, not your relationship. Not sure why guys want to sign up for that.

Conceptually it is easy but the guys who ask this might just be thinking another guy would be willing rather than thinking they would be willing.

Of course a single girl with kids is not going to be able to be spur of the moment as a single girl without kids. There are many other consequential consequences. Pretty/beautiful is just one of our criteria.

Probably cause the vast majority of men have very low standards.

I get that I would always come second to the kid which is one of the main reasons I wouldn't date a single mom.

It’s disappointing how guys will get mad and block me/ghost me because I’m not all up their ass. Yet if I wasn’t single mom and clingy they’d think it was weird too.

Also, men should never only make two categories lol it would be my kid, my dog, myself, and then him but the reality is I’m looking for a partner that doesn’t think like that and is caring. I’d love for him to have friends hobbies and not just depend on me for happiness.

I don't think it's unreasonable to want your partner to put you above everything and everyone else - HIS child being the exception. If we aren't each other's number one I don't see a future together. This doesn't mean you can't have hobbies, though.
