Long story short we dated in 2018 for 4 years and I had to leave to college far away so we broke up. I was close to her little brother. Soon after I left to college her little brother died in 2020. She then deleted herself from all social media no more Instagram or Facebook etc. We started talking again after her little brother died here and there. It’s now 2024 and I just moved back to the same city where my ex is.

I text her from a completely new phone number saying I was back in town and that I would to see her and to save this new number because it’s my new cell phone number. She never text back. I then FaceTime video chat her 4 hours later after that text and she cancelled the video chat (didn’t pickup the video call).

should I move on? It seems like she did save my number like I asked her to but doesn’t look like she wants to talk to me.

Yeah if she will not talk to you then I say it’s safe to say if she wanted to talk she would. Maybe she’s just going through a lot who knows what it is, but you reached out if she wants to chat with you the balls in her court.

Don’t waste your time and sometimes you have to allow yourself closure that, okay if she genuinely wanted to talk to me. She would, she’s going through a lot so it’s probably best to leave her alone.

Maybe you broke up once and it’s not meant to be. Every relationship has a reason some only for a season maybe she’s not the one for a lifetime.

So if you feel it’s time to move on it probably is. If she chooses to reach out then it’s on her.
