Who makes the first move?

Was wondering in a casual dating situation who makes the first move. Should the guy make the first move or suggestion towards sex or do men wait until the women give signs or hints?

Majority of the time it's the guy, but nothing wrong about women making the move, as most of the time guy would agree to it

Well if you are dating, I would make the first move. Although, it can't hurt for you to give hints.

Generally women make the first move. And it kind of makes sense when you think about it, as guys find about 50% of women attractive but women only find about 10% of men attractive. Guys would be wasting their time most of the time if they made the first move.
