Does it matter who makes the first move?

By first move I mean, does it matter who makes the initiative when it comes to asking someone out for dating, relationships, hook ups etc?

It should be both people if you’re interested in someone then make a move. Too many people sit around waiting on the other until someone eventually moves on while the other is standing there wondering why he/she was showing interest before but now is either not showing any or had found a girlfriend/boyfriend.

No, it doesn't. Women have some crazy ideas about men being put off or thinking they are desperate if they make the first move. I've lost count of how many times I've heard a woman say "I tried it once and it didn't go well, never again". Can you imagine if men said that? The human race would have gone extinct long ago.

first move by female always special. that relationship long lasting that's my personal feel and few more reasons as well
