Just got lucky. She asked me out.

It's funny how women say men do not approach and make effort anymore. Every woman I ever approached rejected me so eventually I just quit trying. Then one day a woman who'd become my girlfriend and eventually my wife approached me and asked me out.

It's my opinion that there's simply no reason to ask women out anymore. The ones that know what they want generally will ask you. And the ones that don't know what they want will forever play around with you and lead you on. If you like that, by all means continue. But don't buy the lines from then that you're not confident, that you're not trying hard enough etc. It's all bulls***. If she really wants you, she make it known.

It's just like any other competitive activity. There's a meta and a base level of effort that you have to put in to get results. I'm pretty sure some do find it hard to get into a relationship, but all you really have to do is be a normal ass person and you'll get one eventually.

Yep luck also plays a part. But being active plays the biggest part. The bum is probably a lot more persistent. Dating is a numbers game after all. If you throw yourself at more people, you'll get a relationship sooner (granted you're also a normal person and don't overthink it)

I wouldn't call it "trying hard". I'm lucky enough to be fairly attractive for my age, but also I really like women and they like me. The secret is simple: pay attention in and out of bed. Listen more, talk less.

If you have to try hard then your either not acting how you normally would or good chance it won't be genuine. For me, I have not. I put effort into them but I wouldn't say it's trying hard.
