So yeah this is a weird one. Classic story of meet someone and I rush things so she backs off but we decide to keep as friends since we're part of this friend group but part of me held onto that idea of us dating properly one day.
Now i can't stop overthinking that she's got someone over or she's seeing someone else, I want her to be happy but I just can't stop being jealous.

The way I see it, you can either try spending time with your friends separately from her or spend some time away from them altogether if it’s too hard hanging out with them and she’s not in the picture. I suggest these because out of sight out of mind is usually the best way to move on from someone. It’s hard trying to create some kind of friendship with someone you still want, even harder not to feel jealous at the idea that some guy will get to have her before you got a chance.
Which brings me to the topic of perspective and how important that it is. Once you start accepting that she isn’t interested then maybe you’ll stop feeling so jealous. You can’t miss out on an opportunity that isn’t available to you and you don’t want to be just an option when or if she gets around to having a change of heart. Your best bet to to accept the situation for what it is now, try not to give her attention when you all hangout and let friendship happen naturally if it ever really does at all.
You wasted a chance by waiting.
