Did I get played?

So I’m really, really curious so I was talking to this girl for a while that you know I liked and she liked me back for a while. You know there was a very very you know deep connection. She even expressed feelings of dating me and even made it official almost well technically not made it official we just were talking. You know there was a connection that was really strong. We did a relationship test and I guess I did the best out of all of them. All of a sudden you know she says hey you know I got a boyfriend now mind you come to find out that this guy was only talking to her for a week and he already bought her a promise ring he’s gone to prison so me and her best friend think that she was a bad boy. Do you think that that girl might’ve played me or just do you think that she likes the bad boys better? What do you guys think?

Ouch, man, that's rough. It really sounds like this girl might have played you, or at the very least, she's got some sketchy preferences when it comes to dating guys. The whole situation is shady as hell.

I mean, the fact that she got with this new dude so fast, and he's already buying her a promise ring after just a week? That's super sus. Definitely seems like she's got a thing for the bad boy type, even if it's not the healthiest dynamic.

And the fact that she was so into you, talking about dating and all that, but then suddenly bounced to be with this new guy - that's a major red flag. It's almost like she was just leading you on the whole time, waiting for the next "bad boy" to come around.

Your instincts are probably right on the money, bro. It really seems like she was just playing games with you, stringing you along until something "more exciting" came up. I know it sucks, but you might've just got played hard.

The good news is, it's not your fault. This chick clearly has some issues, and she's the one who messed up, not you. You were being genuine and putting yourself out there, and she took advantage of that. That's on her, not you.

My advice would be to just cut your losses and move on. This girl is showing some major red flags, and you deserve way better than that. Don't waste any more of your time or energy on someone who's just going to string you along.

Focus on yourself, bro. Work on building up your confidence, putting yourself out there, and finding someone who's actually going to appreciate you for who you are. The right girl is out there, I promise. Just gotta keep your head up and keep grinding.

well there can be 2 sides of the story to be exact. depending on how relationship she is good with men weather she scared of them or she goes from men to men etc then you can judge the basic fact. the way your telling this story.. seems like you you got played to be exact. because why would she all of a sudden when she may supposedly felt a strong connection be with another guy? that doesn't make sense. so either she lied to you or lied to him. so yes either way it goes you did get played and you should just drop it. sounds like she likes more bad men but also sounds she is very troubled im sure she gonna come back and say im sorry and im sorry etc but the truth is you dont even know what truly going on in her life or who she been talking to. you also dont even know the facts of what is true or false. she could had easily set you up weather you gave her money or sex or etc. or maybe she was doing where there was 2 dates involved. and to see which is better.. bud you just you need to drop her that simple.
