So, I went on this Instagram Live to get dating advice, and this guy told me that I got played. To make a long story short, I met this guy who seemed nice and we went on a date. He paid, and he was really sweet. On the second date, I met his family and they asked me questions to get to know me. After that, we all watched a movie and ended up in his room where we hooked up. He even asked me to spend the night at his house. However, this guy didn't like my friends. One day, we were supposed to hang out, but I canceled because my friends were planning a birthday party. I had to cancel plans with him because I was hungover, and I told him I would make it up to him the following week. He also saw the photos I posted of my guy friend online. When I finally hung out with him the following week, he started asking me all these questions about where I had been and what I had been doing, and he ignored me the whole time. He even tried to look through my phone and left marks on me. The guy who was giving me advice said that he was very territorial, which is why he left the marks on me. Also, before we hooked up, I asked him if he was okay with a no-strings-attached arrangement, and he said, "Hmm, it's whatever you want." He never told me what he wanted.

Yea, he didn’t like when I would hangout with them. He blocked my guy friend and he was rude to him for no reason. He unblocked him now but his request is still pending😭

That’s confusing for me because to my knowledge getting played is when he’s seeing other women behind your back or stringing you along. What you wrote sounds like at most he is controlling but not in a good way. Sex is such an intimate thing, I wouldn’t want to share my body with someone like him even casually.

Yea I don’t think that guy gave good advice. But, like yea he was controlling but I’m just confused on if he had feelings for me or not. The guy that was giving me advice kept saying guys would do anything to sleep with you but I don’t think if he saw me as something casual he would go all the way to being possessive.

Being controlling doesn’t always equate to romantic feelings but to feel dominant. The guy giving you advice wasn’t completely right but not very wrong either when it comes to men doing anything to sleep with a woman, although I don’t think that matters in this case since you two already hooked up.
