Been speaking to this guy for 1 month but we've been texting a lot so feels longer. At first we really hit it off texting on the chat for hours at the same time. However I realised it would get toxic if we get too emotionally involved. Continued to speak during day less texting. He would apologise for late replies after hours etc. I said its totally fine I know your busy. I know were not exclusive so he can do what he wants and its more healthy this way. However those texts got less and less and communication just went off. He suggested a few times we meet in a subtle way I didn't say much to it however one day I said maybe its better if we meet sooner incase we get too involved. We had a 3 hour phone call in the second week and he delayed the meeting to next month. He would never leave the message unopened even if he replied after hours. This is what confused me the most! because there wasn't even a way of me ending the conversation.
Long story short im sure this guy was feeling me and it was both ways. However I didn't know what to do with his extreme late replies. He openly apologised and said "Look im going to be completely honest I don't really text people much through talking stages and take my breaks with people etc if its an issue let me know" I eventually confronted him as he replied after a day when we was meant to ring and I just said "its not an issue however I can't tell what you want and if your not really into it you can just say unless its going to feel worse"
he said he wants to be honest and not drag me into it and he's not ready for anything yet and I said I thought so and its fine no worries however 2 hours later he opened the message and removed me as a friend!
