1 yLeave the ball in her court if she’s interested enough in you you did your part she knows where to find you. It’s one of a few things either she just doesn’t know how she feels, she is turning you down kindly, or she’s playing games.
Just don’t waste your time on it like I said if she’s interested enough she will find you you should want someone who genuinely wants you. So eventually if she doesn’t come around you’ll probably start finding someone else attractive and loose interest.

Quite the opposite. The interest is there but for one reason it another she isn't ready to date. Not specifically you, but in general. This could be because of several things. She could have just gotten out of a relationship and isn't ready for a new one. She could be doing the whole "love yourself" first thing. Or even making sure that she's emotionally available for a partner.
I'm any event she does like you, but for some reason isn't ready for commitment. If there is genuine interest on you end I would ask her why she isn't ready. Meet her with compassion and understanding when you ask and proceed from there.

We all know what it means to venture onto a date with a man that one does not know. The first thing he will want to try at the end of the date is to get into the pants of that woman and this lady has class and self-esteem. She does not want to lead you on and then you will be upset if she rejects you.
It is always a good thing to know that person that wants to get into your pants for a few months before going on a date.

When have known each other for a while and reconnected and got to know each other during her divorce that was finalized in December

We get along well, she has already introduced me to her son and her parents

I also let her know that the emotional and spiritual aspects are the most important to me not the physical and she actually seemed to like that

She is also in her last semester of college

I don't agree that men automatically want to jump in the pants of a girl they just met. Players do and they unfortunately create among a lot of women who experience them, a distorted view of men as it's probably only 5 or 10% of men who are like that. Most men are just looking out to find THE ONE.

@gryphonkayne I was answering the original poster but it is perhaps not the right time for her at the moment but she may be trying to gently brush you off and keep her options open in case someone else comes along and that would be a bummer for you. That there's a spark in her words should say she's just not at that stage in her life so fingers crossed

I dk how old she is but I imagine not that old and has perhaps had a tough time in the past and bringing up a child while studying is a challenge for anyone on their own. Her situation may be on her limit of holding it together and adding a new relationship into the mix may be a step too far. That she's introduced you to parents and kid is a good sign though so hold on in there.
2.3K opinions shared on Dating topic. You shouldn't have asked that. Usually women don't really feel much till way after the dude does but they just don't talk about it. OR she could feel something intense right at the start. But that woman who feels something right at the start might be the same way with 500 other dudes so it doesn't mean there's something special anyhow. Just like you.. does the fact your tool gets hard mean she's that 1 and only special woman in the world? Nah.

1 yNope. She was straight with you. If it's not yet, then there's no further dating that's going to occur with her.
Move on. You can't wait around. Timing has a lot to do with making a relationship and she's not ready for whatever reason. Bye bye to her.00 Reply
1 yIf she is giving you a hard time drop her fast. Make that a rule.
Why should it be hard? Either she is interested and attracted to you or she isn't.
If she said she feels a spark, it might be because you are somewhat well acquainted to her, and she did not want to give you too cold of an answer because she would feel bad for you as a person. In other words it may have very well been a sugar coated NO.

1 yTough to say if that is the case or not, your first gut instincts are probably right but you will just have to wait and see. You never know she might have something going on or just been in a bad break up etc. etc.

1 yMeaning she may like you, but she may not be emotionally ready yet.. I think it's a bit silly to brush something potential off as if that's not what relationships are for.. But I don't think she's necessarily playing you..

Could her being a single mother on her final semester in college be a good reason?

1 yShe's probably setting you up to waste your time, honestly. I'd just find someone new, if I were you.
00 Reply What is that even supposed to mean? Why not yet? Did she give a reason
00 Reply305 opinions shared on Dating topic. No I dont think she's playing with you, she just doesn't want to leap right now and I completely respect it, keeping options open, rather than cornering herself. Just give it time see what happens.

1 yNo. She likes you but she’s not ready for a relationship.

1 ySeems like friendly flirting, give her some space and don't get consumed by her every move or word. Have fun, play a little hard to get yourself. If she's interested it will work out.
