Should I pine after unavailable straight girls or waste lesbians' time?

Question

I'm a straight person who tends to waste time on men who don't want me. I don't want to continue the same behavior if I started wanting to date girls, but since I'm not officially bisexual, I wouldn't want to waste an actual lesbian's time, right? But then if I can't find another lonely straight girl like me, that might mean I'll have to be suffering and resentful that a straight female friend doesn't want to spend as much time together as I would want. What should I do?

I knew a lesbian who had to sleep with men to get her jollies because she couldn't find any lesbians. It is not necessarily all green grass when you jump the fence.

Also it has become clear that lesbian couples break up at twice the rate of hetero couples because there are two girls in it.

I think you might be better off sticking with men and improving your self to be the kinda girl men want to keep. I don't think How To Catch A Man titles are publish much now but you should be able find some in secondhand book stores Oh and get advice from your mom and granma

Hey, give anything a try once, making good and informed decisions with relationships is not easy for everyone, so don't beat yourself up about it. I don't think you can completely control who you are attracted too, but an actual lesbian might be the best option for trying a relationship with a woman. I think they get lonely also.

If you’re straight , stay straight and keep trying , most of us experience bad seeds before finding a good seed , just the way it goes, especially in the dating world today. If you are having bad experiences with guys’ then you are best to find a guy that is different then what you usually go for , step outside of the box and hit on guys’ that you normally wouldn’t hit on , maybe your personal preferences is set to high , and your expectations are too extreme. Not every guy and every girl is an asshole , you are just picking the assholes instead of picking someone that would probably rock your world. I use to have high standards until I realized those high standards didn’t get me anywhere with girls’ All I care about now, when I meet a girl is if her and I have good chemistry and connection together and we have some things in common , she doesn’t have to be drop dead gorgeous if she has an amazing heart and treats me with honesty and respect , I would take a girl like that any day over a girl that thinks her shit doesn’t stink. When I stopped being so picky , that’s when I started meeting girls’ that were actually amazing to me

I don't think you will be wasting a lesbians time of you are upfront about being curious but uncertain.

However the way you are wording this sounds like what you really need is a female best friend. Someone you want to hang with and feel close to but without the sexual element. Still feels like you want a man for that but are frustrated. Loneliness can be so hard and make us make mistakes. Do you get out socially with people much? Like hang out in groups and places you can maybe make that new best friend?

The only way to actually solve is to stay by yourself, find your own happiness first, don't jump into relationships just to be in a relationship because that is what you are doing ant it screams frustration to me... why wasting someone else's time? Especially when it comes to sexual orientation, it's not fair to waste someone's time until you figure out what you want... it's selfish... so I highly suggest you spend some time on your own and LEARN what you want, love yourself and make the best out of it... you will attract what you are remember that

If you like women, then try to find a woman who likes you. If you like men, try to find a man who likes you. Sexual labels aren't really that important as long as you like each other. If she's the first woman you've liked (or if you're the first woman he's liked), okay, as long as you do really like each other. Just make sure to communicate so that neither of you end up frustrated by the relationship going a certain way.
