Honestly, you have to change the type of person you're attracted to not the gender. If you want to date a woman go for it. But if every guy you dated was an asshole, there's a good chance that the women you date will also be assholes. Toxicity is not restricted to one gender
If you think you will be happy the go for it, but I assume from your age you dated young guys who can be inconsiderate or total assholes. So I don't think you should make a life long rule to not date the gender you are attracted to, it's best to face your fears.

Look you had just two relationships and this is nothing. I had more then 5 and even a marriage. This doesn't mean I got to go for guys now. See make a decision in what kind of guy yoiu looking into. What type of guy what kind of character. You are the women so date gsthering experience take your time you will be doin fine the right will cross your wqy and the one will fight for you to get you.
I'm not voting rather saying. If a person makes you happy, comfortable, and you can be yourself around them no matter who they are. Be with who makes you happy and smile a lot. If the privates dont matter and just how they treat you. Then just focus on that. How your treated.

Believe it or not lesbian relationships aren't necessarily easier. Lesbians can have major problems in their relationships/break up/divorce just like straight people can. I honestly don't think women are necessarily going to be better partners. They'll definitely be worse partners if you're not very attracted to them (or not attracted to them at all).

Well... no one "tries" to be a lesbian-- either you are or you aren't. I mean sure experimentation is normal for some people, to a point, but if you aren't naturally inclined to be attracted to other females or something, then trying to like MAKE yourself be attracted to other females or whatever isn't going to work.
