Would you rather wait for your crush to make a move or move on?

I have a crush on this introverted, shy guy in my college since 3 to 4 months now. I hoped something might happen between us, but I’m too shy to take the initiative and talk to him. I expected him to at least talk to me instead of just making eye contact all day. I considered moving on because I saw him hanging out with a girl a few times (maybe just a friend, but I’m not sure). Yesterday, though, while walking with my friends, I saw him and looked away. My best friend told me he stared at me until I walked past him. This has happened many times before—my friends often catch him looking at me, and I’ve noticed it too. Now, I’m even more confused. Should I wait for him to make a move or just move on or is there a way to start a convo with him?

If this guy is as shy as you know he is. What in the world do you think is going to change, for him to suddenly make a move? He has demonstrated that he's not able/willing to do that. So waiting seems to make no sense.

If you like this guy, and have for several months. It would be absurd to give up because he's shy, and you are too. What the hell is that?

Oh my god, he talked to a girl? That means nothing. You know that already. Don't invent situations that aren't really problems (there's no reason to think anything was happening between those two)

So, it's up to you. You need to take the initiative. That's the answer. That's the only answer. That's the obvious answer. That's the only thing that makes sense.

So, you have two choices:

1. Like this guy from afar until eventually you stop liking him

2 Talk to him thereby getting you much closer (than now) to actually getting with this guy. You just can't be a chicken. He's a shy guy. What's he going to think badly if you talk to him. Please, he'll be thrilled and nervous as hell. You are not going to him in some way where you need to worry about embarrassment.

You need to do this. Or it won't ever happen. There is no good reason to let this opportunity pass you by without doing what you can, to seize it. Gather up your courage, and go talk to him

Ask him for a coffee. That way you can find out his name, where he's from, what things he does in the evenings and then organically share information about each other and find common ground to explore TOGETHER.

I think he would be Shyer than you so just go up to him and ask questions about him that you don't know and that aren't to personal, That's all you have to do, It's easy for you.

Depends on how much you know him.

Like where he goes to school or where he grew up or if has any brothers or sisters etc.

Then you can just try to relate to him like for example..

"Oh, I knew someone from that school, Did you know this person?"

If he likes you at all he will be happy to answer those questions because their usually not that Personal.
