Is it unusual for a 25 year old guy and 36 year old woman to fall in love?

I've been dating a woman who's 36, she told me that she wants to be my girlfriend and I really love her and wanna be her boyfriend, is the age gap unusual for a couple?

The age gap is pretty big (but could work if you're ready for marriage)

At my age 30 F most females who aren't married and no kids usually want them before 40. ( also depends if she has any)

I've dated someone younger than myself he's actually the same age 25. From what I learned most guys around that age barely know themselves, or their wants and needs. They dont really have plans besides for the year. Sometimes still live at home (not all but most).

Are you ready for a serious relationship? One that can possibly lead to marriage? Do you know if she just wants to be your girlfriend or something more? Have you talked about more serious things thay could be brought up? Moving in together, you taking care of her, babies, what you want from the relationship and vice versa?

If you have that set, her as well, then no one else's opinion should matter.

But since you are asking, something might be bothering you about it.

11 years is a lot technically, but it honestly depends on your maturity levels as well, if you two have the same mindset and same goals, then I don't see anything wrong with it...
