Not necessarily, but I think I was temporary dick, lmao. Chick transferred from a school across the country, had broken up with a boyfriend from back there, was banging around with me for a few months, and then at the end of the summer, dude had moved to the area and they were going to get back together. And it seemed like she was sort of unwilling to commit to us in any way more than just seeing each other.

So I don’t think it was just a split-second decision for the guy to come back around. I think they may have just been off for like six months and knew they’d eventually reunite, but she was kind of a freak and just needed a pogo stick to bounce around on in the meantime, lmao. I ain’t mad at that, flattered to be chosen as the temporary pogo stick😝

It's never happened to me, but I saw a second choice girlfriend marry the guy. I don't know if she knew she was option 2, but it seemed bloody obvious to me. 2 sisters, about 17 and 15. The guy was 17. He obviously had a major thing for the older sister. He and his younger brother would often double date the girls. Both sets of siblings belonged to strict religious households. The girls were gorgeous. Older sister much more outgoing and in the end destined to throw off the religious shackles. Younger brother just wasn't into younger sister. Anyway when older brother realized it wasn't gonna happen, he ended up marrying the younger sister a few years later. I don't know if younger sister knew she was second choice, but I find it hard to believe she didn't.

Sure, I’ve had women try to friend zone me or use me as a backup plan. It lasts about 30 seconds.

I simply tell them I have plenty of friends. I’m looking for what I don’t have. If that’s not you then we’d just be wasting each other’s time. I’m not gonna do that. I’d rather spend that time, energy, money, and emotional capital looking for the right person.

I get all sorts of reactions to that. Deflated ego. Sad. Either because her plan didn’t work or because I discarded her so fast. Even anger. As in, so that’s all I am to you?
