It's not cheating to find other men attractive too. It's how you act. So flirting isn't appropriate, but that's a sliding scale, and some of that is inevitable.

He also doesn't want to hear about it. He doesn't give a shit that you think the actor in the movie you're watching is hot. Or that she thinks her new boss is hot. Both of those things are fine for her to think. But keep that to yourself. He doesn't care.

Cheating is anything you couldn't do, if your boyfriend could see you. (This is based on having a healthy relationship, with a sane boyfriend implied).

This right here, is legitimately frightening to hear a woman ask:

This is some unhealthy shit right here. (although it's definitely possible I'm reading implications into this, that you don't actually mean)

A man wants to be "the center of a girls world" in the same way that you want to be "center of the guy's world."

That means, of course you want to feel important to the other person. But it has to be two ways. And most of all, it has to be healthy. So friends should still be important to you, and no guy should make you feel like he has some claim to eclipse your friends. Friends are important, no guy can say anything about you maintaining close friends.

You need friends to keep you in check. Your friends know you, and don't want to see harm come to you. If your guy and your friends, are having trouble being on the same page when it comes to "you." Your friends are the ones who you listen to. They aren't going to see this a different way for no reason. They know you, and are looking at things from the outside.

They can (and will) spot bad things about your relationship, or what effects it seems to be having on you... that you will be unable to see from the perspective of someone within the relationship. If your friends think a guy is bad for you. They are right. (as long as they're actual friends)

Essentially, this is not something that is different between guys and girls. Everybody wants to feel like they're a priority in their romantic relationships. And that's healthy.

It's just making sure that you don't make your partner so much of a priority that it becomes unhealthy.

Well, bless their hearts, these whores, they've got their own ideas 'bout freedom, don't they?
