Why do I attract obsessive people?

Man or woman I only attract obsessive people, why could be the cause of it? Even when at first the person seem normal after a fews weeks they start to be obsessive and it's annoying.

You are pretending too much with them and acting more interested then you actually are. You are probably an avoidant lover.. So they get obsessed with you making them feel good, but you don't even like them, yet you go around pretending that you do. Since if you liked them that behaviour wouldn't bother you and it would be mutual in that you would want to see them, talk to them and spend time together but instead you make them feel unwanted and anxious.. when they get anxious they begin to get scared and clingy, which is off putting for everyone.. Learn to be honest and upfront it will make people less clingy to you.

That's actually quite well spot on, I have a hard time being mean to people / being honest when I'm not attracted to them, I don't want to be a bad person, when people get rejected they lash out to me a lot

I truly believe people attract who they deserve. People who are empathetic, caring, and enjoy helping others might inadvertently attract individuals who have unmet needs and may become overly dependent or obsessive. Chances are you are one of them.

It's possible, I'm ways too nice even when people are weird I stay to talk to them and help them because I feel bad for them.
