I believe writing a heartfelt message isn’t a thing of the past, when you love someone you aren’t afraid to let it all out and show her/him how much they mean to you above all others.
It isn’t being ‘feminine’ or ‘weak’ or ‘soft’, it is showing your woman what makes her special to you and how she makes you feel which really is important since she loves to be adored, thought of, and appreciated also most importantly loved since you are the man she wants forever so make that forever more grounded in matters of the heart.

I do think it means something to write a letter. Because it takes more time to write out a letter then it does to type something out and send it. It depends on the man all men are different as well as how they show as well as express love. Some do some don’t.

A letter is definitely more special…it needs a lot of thought and time to be crafted in a way that makes the receiver feel good. You can’t backspace every mistake you make and have to really think it through before putting pen to paper. Also the handwriting and the sentiment conveyed also makes a world of difference!

1.8K opinions shared on Dating topic. If we are just talking about heartfelt messages, my brother tends to write them from time to time, whenever he goes out, to my mom. He really thinks we'd wreck the house in his absence. It's sweet but stupid.
In romantic relationships? I guess you can say it's long dead tradition

I really wish men still did that…but so far have never been on the receiving end of a handwritten letter.
As an old school romantic, I find this gesture really sweet!35 Reply- 1 mo
Out of the kindness of my heart I’ll write you a love letter if you want.

My ex did to the new girl he's seeing but not to me.

How does that make you feel? 🤔

At the time it made me feel jealous and mad but that was when I wasn't completely over him. Now it doesn't phase me one bit. @PrettyCrumblBb

I usually do something for special occasions like anniversary (we actually have a monthlyversary as well on 2nd of each month)
20 Reply7.6K opinions shared on Dating topic. I used to do this a lot. that was 30 years ago. I do not think anybody still does it. It;s too bad because just the ritual of writing the letter, putting in n envelope and sealing it and putting s stamp on it. Then i would put a couple of lines from a poem or a song on the back. All that would somehow make me feel better.
10 ReplyProbably shit like this is why they don't.

Not really. With the amount of ladies who don't fully appreciate what men do for them , she will more than likely read it then go "now what am i supposed to do with it. You could have sent this to me via a text" its better to just show ones love through actions than waste the time, effort, and paper.
30 Reply 1.3K opinions shared on Dating topic. I certainly Do , but more importantly I'm very happy to read that some much younger people are doing so too , be careful on timing of course , but nothing beats a hand written note or card from the heart.

I don't think so.. my ex wrote me some really cute and nice things when we first were dating. I think it is only something that a guy who really likes you and is romantic will do.

A lot of them do, but probably not on a 📜 anymore, in general. Pen & paper went out of fashion, but romanticism doesn't need paper or any specific material, it is timeless and unbreakable.

I'd think that, with cell phones, e-mail and other instant forms of communication, they aren't really needed, anymore. Why spend the time composing and mailing one which might take a week to get there when you can just tell them almost immediately?
10 Reply I think the time has passed. I say that regretfully. I recently uncovered a clutch of love letters from 30 years ago. They are beautiful. But I think that will never happen in my life at least again.

Some men do... I've done that before.
Totally had the shit used against me later, but I don't regret it

in what way?

Writing love letters is, of course, a thing of the past. Instead of a love letter, men can simply write long and nice messages to ladies.

In old. Wasted too much of my time telling a bitch how I feel. They don't fucking care. Stop wasting your time children. They don't want to know how you feel. They just want you to provide and die.
