I have a crush on a guy, and im pretty but i don't know why he doesn't approach me?

I had a similar experience were i thought a guy handsome (he really is) but he was just not my type and i felt he was insecure

so maybe im in the same situation with the guy i like? (im known as a shy girl too)

Well you are very young if this age is accurate. I will tell you young guys who find you attractive only have one type... Willing. I can't speak for all men but my experience is males are proverbial sluts. A significant difference men over women. Men rarely lack the insight as to what type of girl they like other than physically. So either you attractive to him or you aren't. Guys don't do.. she's cute but she buys matcha and can't see myself spending the rest of my life going out for drinks for her... guys do this... Wow I'd like to get with that. Or she's alright I wouldn't throw her out of bed for eating crackers. It's really that shallow. It's be 3 months before the guy really starts to consider do we have anything more in common than sex?
So he may be shy or he may not be into you. Talk to him if he extends the conversation he's into you. If he doesn't he's not.
