Why do people want people to meet random people or even online instead of people you know and genuinely are attracted to?

Can it be a risk? Yeah absolutely but higher risk higher reward. Especially if you know someone really well and have built a genuine attraction some people tell people to go find their soulmate meeting random people at bars, clubs, and parties. Meet people online. Approach a rando at the grocery store. I get you have to meet someone somehow.

But the same people say don’t date your friends, coworkers, siblings friends, friends siblings, friends of friends, etc because sure the relationships can fail and it can cause some issues. But it would be worse to miss out on someone really amazing and just go for someone you don’t know from a hole in the wall. That’s my opinion.

Just having sex with people causes more problems then anyrhing but sone of these same people say casual sex is fine but not a genuine relationship.

I never understood that perspective. I heard the same opinion from my coworker. He felt it was weird to just meet people out in the world. He told me it's just creepy to make friends or acquaintances outside of friends-of-friends, school or work, which I just don't understand at all.

I met my wife at a Halloween costume store and just asked her out straight of the rip. Literally the first thing I ever said to her was that I thought she's really cute and was interested if she'd like to go out some time and get to know each other.

Sometimes life takes a turn:
You move away to a new city. Your old buddies from school long gone you don’t have access to your social circle anymore


What do you do?
Sit alone in the dark because everyone outside is a stranger?
Or take a chance on strangers until they’re not strangers anymore.

Some people have NO options or have no idea on how to create those options. Ask why do you use dating apps, and you will hear the lamest excuses you have ever heard?

I get some people live in their town where everyone in a 50 mile radius is related in some way or another. Some people just really don’t know a lot of people the list goes on.

But a LARGE majority of people on dating apps are either not serious. There for a ego boost. There for shits and giggles. Or they’re there because they’re bottom of the barrel can’t find anyone in real life. And many times pretend to be someone they’re not

But the MOST common type is people who simply don’t want to make a effort to meet people in real life. They don’t want to make that effort with someone they want someone to talk to or sleep with and move on.

They get angry when they find people of one of the three groups I mentioned. The not serious, bottom of the barrel, or just lazy. Even if they fit one or even all the categories themselves.

You will have better luck approaching people at Walmart then you ever will online.

Take time to get to know the person. Especially if you’re going to have kids you don’t want your kid tied to a bad mom or dad the rest of their life.

It;s the modern-day world with its methods of living as well as technophiles who like to be online and as well as can't find in person-ers so they rely off online methods of meeting a partner. Personally I know a few people who met online that are happily married now, some met on tinder (lol). In my opinion you have to enjoy spending time with someone you intend to marry. If you don't enjoy similar things, then it's probably not a goid long-term relationship. If my girlfriend and I didn't not share attraction to each other, we'd be good friends. With the exception of one current female friend, I am not attracted to any of them. We're friends because we like the sane things.

Sometimes, seeing someone you know can be rather awkward. Getting to know a stranger has its own thrill, excitement and experience. Also, people in real life rarely approach one another for dating reason.

I like dating long distance because if you breakup you never have to see them ever again. No one you know knows them and you can put off rushing into sex with them for months or years, so you know they really like you to commit to that lol.
