Studies show cold approachs have the highest success rate with woman. So why are so many guys afraid to do it?

Number 1 I used to do it online in chatrooms all the time. But that went no where. I used to do it on dating sites, and that went no where. I used to do it on social networking sites. Also went no where. I used to do it on forums, and that went no where as well.

In real life I did the best I could for the circumstances I'm in. I used to be friendly to any female that I came in contact with. And I would try to talk to them. If the woman was friendly first, I would try to maintain that friendship. But I soon learned that things fell apart quickly, and when it happened at work, which wasn't always my choice in the matter, it could go bad and almost get me fired. Or at least make my life miserable.

Which is why I don't try so hard to get a woman anymore.

I didn't say that men shouldn't approach, but immediately asking for a date is unlikely to be successful. Starting a conversation, and asking after some engagement is far more likely to succeed.
