No, I don't believe in it. But mostly, I can't believe how many women default to that exact behavior with any man they are involved with. It's like watching a kid with a Lego set. No matter how great the guy is, they obsess over one thing. If he was just this or if he just did that. I view it as a manifestation of their own neurosis. Anyway, it's a huge turnoff for me and yet another reason I'm very slow to allow women around me. It's just not worth the aggravation.

nope cause its just not the right mentality to have when loving someone as a partner in my opinion. you won't see them as your equal but as like a project or something you take pity on. i feel it will only end in heartache for he both of them.

people always go into these but the sad reality is those people will never change not for you not for anyone except themselves not only is this really hard to acheive but likely the person does not want to fix the problem they just want to have it and keep you. This type or relationship is not suitable or sustainable long term in any way its emotionally draining and can lead to problems of your own not to mention if you have kids imagine what your putting them through. lets face it when you try to fix someone else you can't even see yourself and I promise if you can't realize you need help after a while then good luck fixing the person next to you

I believe you can inspire him to do better things. But change a person? No you can't. Only if he really wants to change himself.

People can only be fixed by themselves. Yes you can support that, but it will probably hurt you in the process. If you care enough about this person that you are willing to absorb the hurt, then sure go for it.

Helping to build someone up is another matter. You shouldn't want to fix them though.
