What do you think when a man or a woman hops from one relationship to another one often?

Do you think it is better to do that until they find the one they want to be serious with and be committed? Or you think jumping from one to another often means the person will never be ready to get serious or committed to anyone and have issues?

In celebs that is pretty common, they change boyfriend/girlfriend like changing everyday underwear but also it happens with ordinary common people.

I'd say I feel a combination of jealousy and a feeling like she might see me as expendable. Someone to dump the moment we have a disagreement because she can just hop over to the next guy. I also figure she doesn't actually know HOW to be single.

Like, the idea that girls can just have "rebound boyfriends" is a completely foreign concept to me. Like, you know how much effort it takes to get to the point of a relationship? The idea of having some disposable relationship you can just use so you can recover without ever having to be alone. Like, that tells me someone hasn't had to put much effort into their relationships.

It takes me long enough to find a girl I'm actually attracted to, let alone having to be the one to turn it into something, knowing if I go at the wrong pace at all, I'll be replaced within the hour. So yeah, there's a bit of jealousy there. Like someone born with a silver spoon in their mouth.

I mean I'm not going to refuse a relationship with her or anything. But there are some red flags I'd keep an eye out for. Had one girl who was borderline abusive and convince me "nobody else could love you", while she could "replace me with anyone at any moment". So like if I see that shit coming up, I'm gone.

It means they are weak and not to be trusted to try a long-term relationship with.

It means that they have some serious self-development to do as they cannot stand being by themselves.

It means that they are so scared of being alone, that they would rather jump from one relationship to another just so they don't have to feel the loneliness.

It means that the relationship you both had probably didn't mean so much to them as they try to make you believe.

It means they most likely got with you out of convenience rather than actually liking you as a person.

This is the type of person I would not bother with for all the reasons above. And whom I cannot trust to stay faithful when I'll not be around for a while when I have to travel for work.

They don't know how to heal and be alone, some people are codependent and needy and always need to be In a relationship. Some people think by rushing into another relationship, it will instantly make them forget about their ex or problems or they try to rub the fact they already have someone new in their ex's face. I wouldn't trust getting into a relationship with serial relationship hopper, chances are they won't be around long and simple just your turn in line so I wouldn't get comfortable.

I've never understood why people need time to get over their ex before dating someone else. I mean, if the right person comes along, that should be enough to help get over them. And it's not as if women have all the time in the world, so the sooner they're able to move on, the better it is for them. So I think that for people who are able to move on quickly, in a mature kind of way, are very lucky.

first because is not actually my business, I really don't know the people, I do not understand or know all of their circumstances, I am not sure why they make the choices they've made with their own lives... so all I would have left is to assume and to judge without knowing better about it or about them, and I do always try my best to not do that...

so I do not think about the people and judge them for what they do and their choices, but I do can tell you about that kind of life style, it is not for me, it is not my thing... so I do not do it, and that is all... I make my own choices to live my own life, without harshly judging and criticizing others for how they decide to live theirs...

For females in particular, each hop makes the chances of holding a long-term relationship less likely. Usually, the result of shooting above her level, wondering why the men just drop her like a bad habit, and then going for the same types over and over until the age kicks in and they find themselves alone.

The dudes on the other hand that are partaking in this hookup culture (not going to speak on the INCEL types), it's more akin to "practice" and a dude that's played the field honestly is probably going to be less of a problem for a chick.

I dating a girl that does that and its like a broken record same problems keep popping up and she refuses look at herself as the problem , she's normal and everyone else is crazy is how she looks at it but she the
commen factor in all of them, she's the one with all the issues that keep causing problems in the relationship just break uo and have a new boyfriend with a couple of days will fix everything over and over and over with the same result look up crazy in the dictionary and it says doing thd same things and expecting a different result but if you tell her this she'll get mad at you and never speak to you again because she doesn't want to face her problems doesn't want to admit to herself she doesn't she just keeps lying to her she doesn't realize that the first step in recovery is admitting it to yourself

Usually for women it's a sign of low quality and mental issues. Quality men are rare so if they have a new man in 3.5 seconds it means they are just monkey branching losers which makes them definition low quality.

For men I don't think it means anything in particular. I've both taken time in some cases and jumped right into other relationships in others. Taking time was far more traumatic and I think bad for me so I don't see ever doing that again. But I don't know.

I saw one or two people say that they leave their new relationship for the old but in terms of women I've never had it happen so i think it depends on the woman and the other man and stuff.

I think that people who hop from person to person always meet people who hop from person to person. I've met people like that and the one thing I noticed was that they always rushed. They are the first ones to say i love you with no validation or time truly invested. So Yea.

I think she may be quick to jump from guy to guy and lacks the ability to bond or get emotionally attached. She doesn't love people, she loves herself.

Of course this depends greatly on the circumstances in the relationships. She may get dumped a lot for being too clingy and she's really to the opposite of what I'm thinking.

They’re lonely and codependent, likely depressed and want to rely on someone else so that they don’t have to deal with their issues. I was like that when I was younger, hoping from relationship to relationship so that I could feel something other than sadness, but after a while I actually dealt with my shit and slowed down on relationships so that I could focus on myself.

I think it can be either, it depends where they are in life and how they are thinking about things. I think long term relationships are better for most people so I have that bias in how I would answer the question, but really whatever works for somebody I guess.

I think they either suffer from limerence, or they have no idea how to be by themselves and enjoy their own life. Both are bad, but limerence is worse. It's where the person literally needs a new thrill in dating a new person after a while, so they get bored and have to move on to the next, the next, the next.

Can't be alone and sometimes with some I wonder if they even loved their partners or just used them to not be alone... I do know a lot of people who do that or people who are still in a relationship and start to search for their new partner and only break up, if the next partner said yes to a relationship

I think it's pathetic and weak. They are usually the types that can never truly be intimate. As soon as the real work in a relationships starts they start to detach and start prepping who ever they have waiting in the wings or keeping warm in the friendzone. No loyalty and always cheating emotionally on whomever they are with.

i think they're unhappy with themselves and can be very dependent and not happy single. like they can't be single for more than a week. have a friend like that, i've known her since we were teens, she's only been single for maybe a week, not even. it's ridiculous... before a relationship ends or she can see it coming to an end, she already finds another one.
