I'd say most of the time, but not always. If a woman likes you enough, she WILL ask you out.

I'm a big believer in a guy should match a woman's energy. If she's giving you nothing, you give her nothing. Most women are emotional vampires looking to feed on a guys adulation. This was fine a couple generations ago because the women eventually followed through in matching a guys effort. Women in recent generations really don't do that anymore. And I think a lot of it is because women really don't want to be tied down anymore. Women want open relationships (at least on her end, if she has a relationship). She wants the ability to recieve love from a lot of sources.

Women's view on commitment has drastically changed. It used to be women wanted to meet the one, marry him and live happily ever after. Now almost NO woman looks at marriage as a lifetime commitment anymore. Most women go into with the attitude that they'll do it till it gets stale. Now I know your question wasn't about marriage. But I'm bringing it up because you have to understand her endgame to understand her actions. And it doesn't matter who you are, or how you fulfill her needs. You're just her Mr. Right now. She'll never even entertain a guy as a Mr. Right.
