My girlfriends get mad at me cause I work a lot and don't answer the phone at my job. Should I dump her?

For months, I've been telling my girlfriend I can't answer the phone unless I am on my break or clocked out, and she gets upset, blocks me for a bit, and then acts like nothing happened. She doesn't have a job and always asks me for money. So I got extra hours to help take care of her, but she acts like I must stop what I'm doing at work and talk to her. That can get me fired, and I told her it would be best if I spoke to her on my break or after work. It’s starting to get annoying, and I want to dump her if she can't find a job or find something to do. Am I right or wrong?

From what it sounds like your girlfriend is very clingy. It's a pretty toxic trait. I remember my ex got mad at me when I didn't text him back until I was on my break. He ended up being very Possessive, so your girlfriend demanding you to be sitting around and waiting for her to text you is a big red flag. Also, unless you have kids and she is a stay at home mom, there's no reason she shouldn't have a job. And if she is demanding money from you without bringing anything to the table is another red flag. The fact that she got upset and blocked you instead of talking it out is also toxic. Another red flag. You should probably dump her. But that's just my opinion.
