So yeah met a girl on a dating app, on our first date, it went well but mid way through, another guy tried calling her and she said that was someone she has been dating for two weeks, but she's still open to dating others as they haven't gotten serious yet, I was shocked but was like answer it? she refused, and said she would call him after our date had ended, she told me at the end I was more a "friend" type, so I left her to it for two months, then I reached out after being thrown in the cells for 10 hours and released on bail. Nothing serious just false allegations from a crazy ex but i have nothing to hide and not even worried as police will clear my name,

anyway i messaged this new friend girl to get her to get her number as i had to get a new phone and couldnt talk on socials to say what's been going on. She then wanted to meet up with me again as the guy she was seeing didn't go anywhere, we chatted every night on the phone for 3 hours, and after a week we met up again. And it was nice and casual date, She told me we are just friends, then still kept calling me for 3 hours every night, then one night she sent me her home address and wanted to know mine, so I gave it to her, she still wants to meet me again, but has a few days being busy with family so hasn't texted, she normally doesn't text, she normally likes to phone after i send a text but cause she's busy i have respected that and not text, I've not heard from her but I've seen her post a nice selfie, she has told me she likes men who take the lead, but i dont want to be a simp texting lots especially when i know she's busy but im confused if I should detach or keep going seeing if it could lead somewhere, as I say I'll see her in a few days as she wants to enter my workplace when im alone and I've got the place to myself but we'll see if she cancels or not, but she told me her address and keeps wanting to make plans to see me

Those are simple manipulation tactics hot and cold and created distance not only created doubt in yourself saying what you need to do as man to causes doubt in you you.
