Does she want something to happen between us?

This is very complicated. I'm gay i have a friend who is claiming she is straight. She has a male partner.

Me and this friend spend a lot of time together. She was really supportive when I came out. Since I came out to her she has been acting so weird. If I stay over at another friends house she will go mardy about it or even if I just go out for the day with another friend.

Before covid hit. We decided to have a got tub party just me and her. Music was playing no drink was involved at all. It was getting late so we decided to get out and get dry. She got out first wrapped herself in the towel then decided to instead of passing me the towel stand there to make sure I had to walk into the towel so she had to wrap it round me

Another situation was we went out to cinema with me and another friend. Me and this other friend to kiss to prove a point to someone. My so called straight friend turned round and said I'm ok with that. Which I thought was a really weird thing to say

The other week me and my straight friend went to the cinema together. I was wearing a low cut top. She decided to first put a straw down between my boobs then decided to shove a bit of screwed up paper down there.

I really don't understand her behaviour right now. I'm not sure if she is wanting something to happen between us but she is constantly saying I'm straight, I'm into men etc. Any advice on this would be great. Thank you for reading

Give her time i guess if you're into her in any way and she hasn't yet admitted being anything other than straight then she might just be afraid of coming out or how it may impact her life currently,

She has a partner so regardless i don't think she is completely gay but maybe somewhat or learning you're gay may also have triggered feelings towards you but having a partner would deffo be a problem in between you both having any kind of real relationship foundation.

Give her time and she may realise what she want more! Or even be straight and ask her.

Women tend to have close connections regardless, They don't mind seeing each other naked and touching boobs and stuff she does sound interested though i must admit i think time will only tell if you like her then do keep close and allow her time to understand how she feel's and if anything does become clear then i would say making sure she is single and available is priority for anything to become more serious between you both!

Thank you so much for your answer. She never did anything like this before I came out. I have spoken to a few friends and they feel she is scared of what people may say or think. Hopefully time will tell

i think coming out is soo exaggerated in our minds! We build up this fear factor who will accept us who will not be our friends our family and so on...
It get's to the point where it becomes a burden over ones life, There will be a time where it becomes more of a have to than don't want too. Losing things at this point becomes transparent and coming out becomes much easier for someone, I do think given time she will understand her self more and fight for what she want's rather than being scared of it!
When i came out it was such a release and i lost all my friends practically but i knew it was going to happen and i didn't give a crap but years of self torture and hiding didn't help me in any way and making the choice was the best thing ever!
