To answer you original question. It would depend how deep I was in it at that point.

To answer you update. Yes I would date her.

Let's be honest. We as people judge eachother. But when you accept someone into your life and fall in love with them, you do it completely (or you should, or what he'll good are you).

And your question never even considered the opposite. What if I had to have heart surgery? Because this is the point. The shoe can be on the other foot at any moment.

Continue to date if I like her. I wouldn’t stay with her out of guilt though, if I didn’t like her I’d break it off but wouldn’t break it off just because of that
