Guys is this a deal breaker?

If you went on a date with a girl and found out she had a difficult childhood where she moved around a lot, was abused and was hardly fed in her teen years which resulted in her being rather inactive in her teen years. Then later picking a useless degree due to lack of her ability to think clearly. And having some health issues she had to deal with due to the intense starvation.

But fixed her health and is now doing well in a nursing program. Would her past and poor judgement in degree be a deal breaker?

Oh absolutely not, but to be fair I can see how somebody who does not have experience with trauma or difficulty would not find that attractive because they cannot relate to it or understand it.

As an individual, I have had my own chair of difficulties and traumas so I would find someone else who also had trauma as more attractive emotionally because they can empathize with me and I can empathize with them. It's easier for two broken people to make a successful relationship if they're both aware of their trauma and work on them than it is for somebody who doesn't have any idea what the other person is going through trying to figure it out as they go

No, I don't think so.

While the hardships you suffers in early life have been terrible and leave mental scars, the fact that you have overcome these shows your inner strength.

If a guy likes you or falls in love with you now, your past shouldn't matter to him, only the person you are now.
