Paying the bill on dates versus asking someone on a date, are women hipocritical?

It's no secret that most modern women still expect men to pay the bill when on a date, despite claiming they oppose traditional gender roles. They justify it by saying whoever asked the other out on a date is obligated to pay. How convenient that is when women also expect men to approach and ask women out, again while ostensibly being against traditional gender roles.

At the end of the day, the thanks men get for taking the initiative and risking rejection is that they will have to pay for everything, too.

The women you’re talking about are called narcissists…. Or just have a fantasy idea of dating at best. Most so called feminists want the benefits of traditionalism meaning it's sexist to expect anything of a woman…. However. These same women want a man that’s tall, has money, etc. Somehow that isn’t sexist that’s standards.

Dude, frankly not all women are that way. Some women…. Okay want a man who pays they don’t feel entitled to it at the end of the day they will pay their half but they may just not choose to date you anymore.

But there are women that genuinely don’t care to split the bill and will even pay the bill. I don’t expect someone to ever cover my half of the bill and I don’t care to pay… as long as she isn’t a entitled ungrateful bitch.

There are also women…. Who will ask men out. Maybe it’s never happened to you. I don’t know…. Look. If a woman will only date you if you take her bougie places. She isn’t attracted to you…. Or is just very materialistic. Men would be surprised what a woman will do when she’s genuinely into you…

Men have always been the ones who were supposed to be the aggressor and pursue women. It's pure human nature. And paying for the date is a gesture that shows he is capable and willing to take care of a woman and her children, which is very important to us. I’m not a hypocrite myself; I assume that no man will have the balls to ask me out unless I make my interest blatantly obvious and when I do, sometimes the interested guys freak out and get bitchy. A few later admitted it was down to insecurity, rather than a true lack of interest. Nor do I expect men to pay for our dates.

Which is precisely why the first date shouldn't involve money. If she's done her job to "drop the handkerchief", and I've done my job to pick it up, then it's on her to prove she can cook a meal. Fuck all that. Dates are about getting to know a potential lover, not already discussing who should pay for what. The absolute best dates I've been on were a nice walk and talk. Completely free of charge and way more informative than stuffing our faces and having attention divided watching a big ass screen.
