Yes. Romantic love is a lot of work. And two people have to be on the same wavelength and if they aren't then it's not going to work. It's hard to find that. So I can understand why some people give up on it.

Sure, it's not for everybody and that's okay. We have a family friend who is in his 50s now, was always well liked by the ladies but he just likes to travel around, make new friends, and do stuff. Growing up he crash at my parents house for a couple days to catch up between adventures, then move on to the next one lol We always thought of him as the ultimate embodiment of a bachelor.
